Thoughts & Observations from the Beachfront Battle Invitational at Calvary Day HS June 10-11

Savannah, Georgia is tucked away in Southeast Georgia along the Atlantic Ocean.  Not only is it home to great oceanview, cobblestone streets, and well-preserved historic architecture, it’s also home to some of the best basketball around.  A part of the state where the state tournament in Georgia runs through every year, Savannah is often disconnected from the Atlanta scene and a spot that unfortunately is often left out of the recruiting landscape as a result of that.  June 10th and 11th Swish Scouting put on the first ever exposure tournament for varsity basketball in the city at Calvary Day, and there was a plethora of talent to be found that came out of the shadows to present itself in this sleeping giant resting along the Atlantic Ocean.  Read below to see the recap on the event and the All-Tournament teams….
